Very, very good. After listening, I'm now in a "Shaft-mode"  :D

Hilary, with this one you're moving in different fields and spaces, and the result is quite good.

Keep on funkying....

I agree with Kenny...funk usually has a pick me up vibe and is a fun ride...and this one is no exception.

Loved the Rev's punchy, urban bass and his excellent production work. Nice fade out ending and arrangement.

Paul's wah was ace...smeared that funky frosting all over the tune. Great scat singin' Hilary..sure worked for me.

Great collab Taylor Fox!

It's interesting this one - I got sent a bass track and was told which bars to sing and not to use any lyrics :D

I improvised a vocal (as instructed - which I thought was seriously difficult to do) and the rest was built around it.

I think it turned out great - thanks to Mike and Paul, for their talent and patience and thanks to everyone for their lovely comments.

lol...I loved listening to this, Hilary. Instantly put a smile on my face.

Starseed

Groovy, dig in it.
I can imagine the difficulty of adding a vocal, but that's as cool as it gets. Got yer bell bottoms on? Sway back and forth... cool.

Ted

Wah the heck?

It sounds like you are having fun.

I don't think I've ever heard scat singing on this site before – but a lot goes on when I'm absent for long periods of time. Kudos to you for taking on this assignment, and I love the guitar from the late, great, Rev48.
