when you start a redo you should post a version or parts you are going to use on the collaborations board stating in the headline you are looking for bass additions etc.

that way you are more likely to prick the ears of all the great bass players we have on here. looking forward to hearing where this one ends up. right now it's a belter.

Raw gold. Perhaps the wave of the future in this over-produced musical world.

I love the instrumentation..so effective in it's starkness. Perfect match for  a song about things nor often sung about.

You sing well and play well...but the real strengths in your tunes for me is your excellent use of dynamics. They keep the tune alive and the listener locked in.

Very cool on all counts!

Well done Mr. Bud! I like the live feel of this recording and I'm always drawn in by real subject matter lyric. You've got a good melody, chord progression, and it sounds like you've used zero or very little compression to squeeze the life out this song. Nice work at keeping the dynamics of realness!
