It's been 8 years and 10 days since this was posted, and nobody mentioned... The Shadows!

Surely this is a close cousin to "Sleepwalk" or "Midnight Cowboy."

Frankly, I didn't think anyone made music like this anymore. Simple, wordless, and classy.

One very tiny thing on my mind that i was thinking. A tiny bit of very gentle whammy bar on the tail end of one or two of those phrases would be lovely I thought anyway (like the shadows i guess).
