Mr. Bojangles

Say would any of you wonderful guitar players be interested in laying down the guitar for Mr. Bojangles for me.   I'm assuming it is more accoustic.  I think I can sing in the same key the original guy did it.  It has great harmony lines and I'd like to give it a shot,  but I know my plain old rythm playing just wouldn't cut it. If interested give me a shout.

Judging from what I've heard here, there's a lot of great acoustic guitarists to pick from here ... Kody springs to mind as one ... but I'l give it a shot if you want me to.

I think I can sing in the same key the original guy did it.

.. and who might that be? I search YouTube and found several fine versions. Name the key and tempo, and if you want drums and bass you could always post first .....

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is the one I have.  Ronniejm is going to work on it also.  Maybe we could do a 3 some. LOL I can always send you the mp3.   I am a bass player so I can add bass. Was thinking of keeping it simple.  Let me know if you want me to sent mp3.  You and Ronnie could do great things. Maybe we could get some good harmonies going.

I've always loved this song~ my mommy used to sing it to me when I was little~ It's funny, Wiley, I was thinking of covering this song a few weeks ago...I knew a man, Bojangles, and he danced for me. With worn out shooooooooes. I can't wait to hear what you guys come up with!!!

No problem.  I know some of my stuff isn't quit you guys cup of tea. lOL I am working on a truly country song.  But am going to challenge you guys to kick some a**.  LOL  Hopefuly I can get it posted this weekend.  I think I feel alive again.

Well PJ .. here it is.. it's 3AM here so I can't promise it's flawless , but I'm sure you can cover up the sloppiness in my playing with your lovely voice!! and some keys maybe ..

It's just three guitars panned left, right and center two with the capo on the 7th fret to don't mess it up to much ...
