Thanks for listening and commenting everyone

This was one of those projects that just came together really easy.  I started out Thursday lunchtime when it looked clear that the Beatles would win the cover fest and finished up Friday afternoon with the guitar and vocal parts.  Actually I started off with I Want to Tell You, but it dawned on me it's a triplet song and GarageBand doesn't do triplets very well (in my hands at least).

One of the lyrics is wrong.  The lyrics I downloaded had the line "Standing on the cast iron whore", which sounded wierd but I had no reason to doubt it (you can hardly hear it in the song).  When I was posting this though I saw on Wikipedia that the line should be "cast iron shore", which is a 'beach' / riverbank in Liverpool.

Oh yeah, you captured the Lennon vibe alright!

Cast iron whore or not ;) , this all sits well with my ears!

Definitely Lennon-esque. Very well done.
Nice use of Garageband too (I think I detect G-Keys & Drums).
This might not be what you mean, but Garageband now does 3/4 time (spanner symbol + time signature).
Cool 8)

Yup!  Great take on a cool song!  Recording is just right... love the keyboard outro!
