Hi guys, now i'm looking for a job as a soundtrack composer and i needed symphonic piece for my resume, so i composed one. Could you please tell me if you liked it and if it will do good for resume?

It's a piece for symphonic orchestra and a chinese drum(Taiko). It was inspired by a great novel by James Clavell, "Tai-Pan", about building of Hong-Kong, Opium wars and clash of eastern and western.

All done on laptop, i used East-West Symphonic Orchestra VST with Izotope Ozone 5 for mastering. Also had to read a couple of books on orchestral instrumentation

Nothing short of EXCELLENT!

HUGE and powerful...good dynamics, and great composition skills with the interplay of instruments.

I felt as tho i was in a theater...epic arrangement...so i'd say as a soundtrack writer, you have what it takes.
