I, too, liked that solo and I, too, think it could be "up" in the mix a bit more. Sounds good. (I could listen to that over a few times, tbh.)
I also like the melody and the feeling in the song. Your lyric and solo and mood all fit together nicely to relay a strongly felt emotion. I definitely enjoyed listening.
