New toy Cord/connection question?

I picked up a used Kaossilator today.
 
The 008 only has mono channels so I have a quarter inch stereo cord that splits into 2 mono quarter inch plugs. I can use an adapter to 1/8 inch plug and connect with the headphone jack. My question is...do the RCA jacks sound better? and if so is there a cord I could buy that goes RCA to 2 mono plugs ?

Phono to 1/4 standard jack works best with the k-O. Its a great little device. Headphone jacks often do match impedance, so can distort, I would say brother, but both will work.
