What an idiot - I didn't read it properly and thought it was Monkees Fest !

I don't like the Monkees but to show willing I spent half the weekend trying to work out a rocky arrangement for 'Last Train to Clarksville' then realised it was songs ABOUT monkeys. Doh !

No. As I've already said at least twice, songs by The Monkees are not included in this fest, with the exception of The Monkees Theme Song. If someone finds another Monkees song that has lyrics about monkeys then that would be acceptable too, but I don't know of any.

Nothing against The Monkees. I'd love to see a Monkees fest sometime in the future but this isn't it.

I have some seriously fond memories of The Monkees and would mind a fest but I'm overjoyed to exclude them here. Songs about Monkeys, it's brilliant!
