Bass Effect??

I don't have a bass guitar. Is there a way to use a regular guitar with effect to emulate a bass and if so how?

It was me, but it is not that close to the natural bass sound. Maybe its more close to a distorted bass.

The fact is that Micro BR doesn't have a Bass Emulation effect. I don't know if it is possibe to add it maybe with a firmware update but I doubt it. When I want to emulate a bass I use a Zoom 505II pedal. Its not very close to a bass but it does the job.

you're right there is no substitute for a bass, cheap one will be my next purchase. But I really am missing it while I'm using Micro BR

You can get a killer deal on yamha rbx 7xx basses on ebay. I just bought another one for 160 (total price with shipping). It used to sell new for 700-800 dollars and it is worth every cent even at new price.

Wife has just got me a Legacy bass just for bass tracks on my br for £63 (uk).
Back to the drawing board learning to play the thing. Sore fingers once again!!!!

play with the pick it will save you some time 8-) I play with three fingers and fast (Racer X, Billy Sheehan) and it took me a while to get to this point. But you will be able to play root/fifth in a day or two.
