This truly saddens me. I started as a bass player years ago before I changed to guitar after four years. Jack Bruce had the biggest influence on my bass playing style then. I even played a Gibson SG bass, still have it. I spent hours listening and practicing to Fresh Cream, Disraeli Gears, and Wheels of Fire. The live version of Spoonful is a pure delight to take in. R.I.P. Jack.....................

Wow this is such bad news, one of my all time hero's, what a bass player, just without compare and a fantastic vocalist too, watched a master class programme on sky arts a while back and Jack was on, just astounding.
