I played some keys ... (iLectric piano) sendt it to James and asked for a dry vocal :) And he delivered !! Big time ! I was planning on adding on to it when I got it back ... and I did, but just some subtle strings ... didn't want to ruin the vocals..

staring at a blank wall
in an empty room
the dreadful sound of silence
the calm before the storm
when will the thunder rumble
where will the lightning strike
when will this  sunlit evening
descend into the night
terrified to go to sleep
careful not to fall
somewhere you have no control
no destiny no will
no thoughts of love
to distract you
whilst you dream
let the sandman take you
so you may rest in peace
let the sandman take you
so you may rest in peace
Let the Sandman take you

Oh well ........

Flash Harry

We need more Mellotron.

Evocative and timeless chaps.

I love the dry vox. You're at your best vocally when you're naked James, but that's not an excuse to have a repeat of the guitar on the verandah incident.

The track is controlled and understated, perfect.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

I don't often use others quotes but these were words in my head before i even read comments. I love minimalist, understated work and this is a gem. Dreamlike and haunting. It absorbs you. Excellent!!

Keys strings and a outstanding vocal do not need anything more for this song it would only take away from a perfect collab. Well done to all
