QuoteI was wondering the same. BIAB has so many great instruments it seems, and I too wonder to what degree can you "control" it. E.G. at ~3 minutes there's a cello melody in the right channel and again at the end. Did you write the notes for that melody or do you put together phrases (similar to what we do on the BR's when programming  drums)?

Thank you Geir.

No, I did NOT write that melody line for the cello. It goes this way: you write down the CHORDS for a song, then you ask the software to put a cello soloist on those particular measures, and here it comes. Of course the first results quite often are not the ones you wish and expect, so you can ask BIAB to do it again and again and again, until you will be satisfied with what's in your mind.
I add that in the recent years BIAB comes bundled with a second free *more DAW-style* software, RealBand (only Windows version), that allows  a better fine editing on this kind of things.

Wow, I had missed that, it is true that I was not yet a member of SC.I like the bumps for that

Alfredo is really an expert of the use of Band in a Box,..and it is besides by Alfredo with whom I had exchanged on a forum BIAB, which encouraged me to enter in

What a beautiful mix, and beautiful voice of Orh, the flute is really bluffing

Alfredo, it would be necessary that the covid let us go a little (it is true that the soignants of all countries, in first line of combat, do not have much time for the music and that you remake these magnificent services

This is pro stuff right off the radio from late 60's maybe early 70's... it haunts of "Goodbye Ruby Tuesday" to me...that kind of vibe... so many nice sounds to like here... the vocals aren't so typical of what i have heard ORH do (then again he has done a lot I haven't heard yet...) (really good singing style...)
big stuff here guys...

Still love this one a lot. The original and this well-done cover arrangement and performance. Hauntingly beautiful...

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
