It was my own rant. I'm bogged down with a huge report for work, so I shelved my music issue for the time being. I haven't properly researched  the problem, so I was being proactively petulant (It's a gift really).

I need to eventually have to suss out how to connect the iPad to the computer, using the camera connection kit and a iConnectivity2+.

Looking at the manual, it all seems reasonably straightforward.
