Hi All,

Its exactly a year to the day since my last musical post, had a difficult time getting productive in the Shed but managed to scrape something together although I havent really spent much mixing time on this one.

This is actually a Del Shannon song which Frank Black & Teenage Fanclub covered in a Peel Session, I've made my version up as I've gone along so its a bit of a weird one!!

Glad to be back!! ;D

Great to hear you again - I'd seen your comments and been wondering why you'd not posted anything !  Been a bit the same myself - didn't post a song this year till July but I've now fallen in love with the Telecaster i got last Christmas and its restored my mojo. Anyway, back to your song - don't know the original but really enjoyed hearing this - lovely vocal and production !  Let's have a few more !

ooooh yes

Gorgeous.  Don't know the song but I love how you've done it.  Very assured performance, great vocal.  Love that bit of organ coming through right at the end there.

Welcome back, productive Burtog!

Oh well ........

Farrell Jackson

This sounds great Burtog! I like the upfront vocals and the keys floating in the background set a real nice mood. This is a very good mix.....I hope you find the time and inspiration for more work like this in the shed!

A year with no posts? sounds a bit like me...but if it takes a year to come out with a totally excellent recording like this, then i'd say you haven't lost a thing. Very pro mix and production as Alex said and i also agree with Farrell...the out front vocals are ace. This was time well spent and a recording you should be proud of. Ace!
