Well, over the last few weeks I have been playing around with acoustic blues, inspired of course from this site (Greeny and 0JimmiHendrix0 and witchita excellent acoustic blues in particular).  What a great site this is, I get so much inspiration from this place.  I used two tracks for rhythm part, one for lead part and one track with some harp for fun.  I am working up to writing an original acoustic blues song with lyrics and all.  Here is my Friday night acoustic blues jam.  Hope you like it.

Nice work Bluesberry! Loved it when the harp cut right through that crisp clear guitarsound like a razor! Did you use some effect on the harp?

Thank you guys.  The harmonica was recorded via the onboard mike using the following patch (I tweeked a bit).  It sounds pretty good, next time I will tweek a bit more, maybe bring down the gain a bit.  Thanks for the compliments.  I am not good enough yet to play the basic rhythm part all at once in one go, with all the fills and frills, so I used two tracks for that part.  I am working on it.  I sure love playing them blues.   Thanks for listening. 8)

I am speechless.  This was magnificent.  The blues harp and your guitar complimented each other so well.  YOu did a great job with the mixing.  Absolutely wonderful.  Going on my mp3 for sure.

Great! Just GREAT!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

That's good blues guitar but I just LOVE the harp. That patch is great, don't bring it down or clean it up. It balances the clean sound of the acoustic and gives the piece a really gritty feel. Very well done indeed.

Cheers,
