First time listening to any of your work Mike. I always liked Rory...but i just don't recall this tune.

As has been said, the guitar tones are ace...the crunchy rhythm a perfect backdrop for your lead work...which i really loved. Nice tone and really fine, emotional playing.

Usually when folks mix their vox below the instruments, it's because they are insecure about them. Don't be. You did fine here. Almost anybody can do well vocally if they just find their strengths, don't wander out of their range, and work on appropriate phrasing. Didn't hear the first vocal take but this one works just fine. Nice cover.
