Details:

Drums and acoustic bass: BIAB RealTracks, BUT with plugins, during mixing:

Waves CLA guitars for the acoustic guitar (myself)

Izotope Nectar for James's voice

electric guitars: (myself) Fender Strat Am. Deluxe, with Amplitube as plug-in (clean patches)

Acoustic bass: Izotope Alloy

Drums: EzMix

THEN FOR MASTERING,

I use as usual Adobe Audition, BUT

I've found particularly useful a mastering tutorial video:


...well, in fact I've slightly modified what's in that video, according to the song, my taste, my ears and my monitors.

I mean, THAT's the starting point, but then, according to the music, there's always some fine tuning.

 ;)
