A cover of Don McLean's 'The Grave' from the American Pie album. A Vietnam-era war song that I always found miserable but moving.

I tried to make it a bit more raw / dark than the slightly over-polished sound of the original, and I cut out all the instrumental bits to leave it a lean 2:25 long.

It comprises Takamine acoustic guitar, bass, AniMoog synth and vocals only. All recorded and mixed on the MBR.

Beautifully, powerfully done, Tim.

War sucks.
Let it be known, there is a fountain, that was not made, by the hands of men.
