Hi. I have bought this  http://www.drumsondemand.com/collections/wav-loops/products/hard-rock-drum-loops .

But. They have shipped the dvd version which is not compatible with the BR 1200. They have contacted me to point out the fact and say that I may be able to transfer or burn the files to cd which the Br can accept. Having pretty much no idea about such matters. Can this be done? They are 16 bit. I thought I was ordering a cd version of the loops but they have changed the format recently. My fault or theirs? Anyway if the above can be done.....easily!... then all will or may be fine.

If you 'rip' the tracks to a computer, you could then transfer the .wav files to the BR that way.  8)

The nice people at D.O.D are going to put the loops onto cd for me and they are willing to do some more should I decide to get any more. Thumbs up for Drums on demand.

Yeah - you will need to copy (prob the 16 bit WAV files- the BR1600 doesn't support 24bit WAVs) to multiple CD's as DVD's can hold much more data (an so files) than a CD, probably to store all the different formats. I use BetaMonkeyLoops which are very similar - you simply download the files and then burn to a disk. Its really quite simple, there are many pieces of software that can do this, depending on your OS (Windows or MAC or LINUX etc). I love drum loops - they always sound so much more natural as they are typically played by a real person.
