A John Peel Session for BBC Radio with The White Stripes running out of songs to play, they do a brilliant rendition of the Gene Vincent classic 'Baby Blue', with Jack exclaiming at the end "That's for you John". The session was recorded on the date 11/08/2001.

my rendition is anything but brilliant, perhaps sober.

Wow James, you are knocking these out like crazy. This almost has a Robert Plant type deliver - very cool cover.

Love it Jim, beautifully stripped back and relaxed delivery, and you just nailed that vocal.

I am familiar with most of the White Stripes back catalog, but have never heard their version of this before which is the beauty of these Fests in the songs that you discover through them.

Nice one!

ahhhh, how sweet...  ended up listening to original live version from Gene Vincent whiskey savoring , and then gave the White Stripes BBC masterful acid arrangement/rendition, and went back and gave your sweet as mead rendition a couple of more listenings, and oh so sweet....
