Indeed, "The Voice" - come along way from being the bass player in Deep Purple :-) Always was an amazing singer, and great player - Coverdale and Hughes competing for vocal duties is pretty amazing.

hate to be a naysayer but this is not my favourite take on this song.a bit OTT for my liking and sounds like he is being aided and abetted by autotune.
