live in the living room
there's a grass roots movement
out there on the streets
but you never see it
on your tv screens
they try and scare us
with project fear
we'll be better together
is all you ever hear
better together
better for who
better for me
or better for you
better together
for the rich or poor
better together
for who
maybe you're a yes
maybe you're a no
maybe you're not telling
or maybe you don't know
well it's on a knife edge
too close to call
so do you vote for change
or the status quo
better together
better for who
better for me
or better for you
better together
for the rich or poor
better together
for who

Cracking little tune this, that vocal melody is pretty captivating.

I like the mix too with the vocal being more prominent than usual and the Uke very much a distant backing. Not sure why, but it seems to suit the song perfectly.

Agree with TW. I always love the feel on your uke tunes! Nice live performance!

If I was a Scot, which I'm not, this is the question I'd ask. I guess the answer is obscured by the answering. Neatly encapsulated Mr. Higgins.

And a nice thoughtful song, with appropriately written melody, in fact, it's fab.

Yorkshire next.
