And now for something completely different, to coin a phrase.

Almost by way of palette cleansing after all the 50's & 60's stuff of late, here's my cover the The Raconteurs Intimate Secretary.  It's an album track from the Broken Boy Soldiers LP.

Actually I finished this a couple of weeks back, but didn't want to break my flow on the JLJ stuff.

Don't know the original, but I love this. The vocal fx really make it fly. Complex and always interesting. Such a stylish piece of work.

I do know the original very well, as have this album and am a big Jack White fan.

Your covers are so strong in respect of the incredible attention to detail, and those vocal effects are spot on, in fact you sound almost like Jack White at times particularly on the higher register parts,

Shame the Suggestfest isn't still going, as would have requested "Steady as She Goes" off the back of this, as now have the sound in my head of you nailing this!

I doubt this was particularly an easy one to cover, there is a lot of components to it and the arrangement is far from straightforward, but you produced something that stands up the the original in every respect!

Brilliant stuff!

That's a great song too, I love the whole album.  Would be nice to do another SuggestFest, I enjoyed that one.

Must admit I'm not entierly sure.  I've deleted it off GB now to save space on my phone.  I know there's 5 vocal tracks, two acoustic guitars, two or three electric.  The thing with GarageBand is if you wanto to have the same track a bit quieter in some parts of the song you have to put it on another track to turn it down.  Not sure how many there are available now but it never seems to be an issue.
