As the sands of time draw to a close for the John Lennon Jukebox -fest, here's my last hurrah for it.

When I first listened to the original (not heard this one either before the fest), I thought it would be a fairly straightforward one, no vocal part for one thing.  Wrong.  Took me ages to get it to this state and I'm now doing the step-away thing otherwise I'd be there for ages.

I had to reinstate ThumbJam on my phone for the trumpet and sax parts.  They illustrate quite well why I don't like TJ much - I'm pretty rubbish at using it.

The sax part was recorded on the forecourt of a garage whilst a very nice Turkish man cleaned my car inside and out (£9).  I did briefly consider putting forward for the Remote fest for this reason, but that would have been taking the piss.

Tangled Wires

Don't know this one, but what another splendid fine example here of your ability to capture a stunning retro sound.

Those horns sound absolutely knock out, and is that the "hammond sounding" organ from GB making another appearance?

Music for cool cats this!
