Just thought i'd offer my services if anyone wanted some 12 string acoustic added to any collaborations...........I can do some (basic) acoustic lead too if that suits the songs you're working on.
Just a roadie again.....

Great will keep that in mind.  It's fun doing song with people from all over the world.  I listened to the one you wanted female vox on.  I don't know the song well enough to try at least yet.  It's hard to keep up with everything going on in here.  I admit I am more into the oldies.  :D

Hi

I'd like to enter a song in a new competition (only announced the last week of March) for a 'Toronto' song.  That is, a song about Toronto.  The Mayor of Toronto announced it.  I bought the BR hoping I could do it myself but I really need a nice guitar track - and if possible, a nice bass track.  The problem is... the songs are due in by the end of April! Next week! The good thing about this is that nobody (including myself) has really had time to write a decent song and record it.  I guess some prolific writers could have.  But anyway, I figure I have a chance at winning.  Grand Prize is $5000.00 (Canadian $).

Up to now, I've programed the drums and added a really cheesy bass line.  I want to keep the drums but the bass line should go.  The song is Country Style/Pop.

I wonder... if I could add basic piano and the voicetrack then sent you the mp3 - would you have time this weekend to add a 12 string acoustic track?

Also, is there anyway you could also add a bass track?  If not, I'll just have to keep trying to do one using my synth.

I understand if you're busy - there really isn't much time.  But I'd hate to miss the competition now that I've spent so long on the stupid thing!

Best regards,

Paul

Put it in collaborations, you'd be surprised what can happen in there. I'd consider adding some bass for you.

Hi Everyone,

I had posted earlier about a local song contest for Toronto.  Well... everything has gone wrong!  I lost my voice (can't sing anyway!) and then I could not find my AC Adaptor for my Midi Keyboard.  So this means I had to sing along to a drum track only with a sore throat.  Not only that, I've only had my BR for 2 weeks and had to try to learn what I needed to get this project done.  I tried adding Reverb and a Pop Mix but I don't think I did that right - do you?  Oh well, have to learn these things when I have more time.

Thank goodness this is only a Song Contest and not American Idol!

The deadline to enter is April 30th so there are only 4 days left.

If someone (Brett, you had kindly offered) could add a bass it would be fantastic.  And then if there is anyone who feels they could add a guitar track to thicken it up (it's pretty thin right now!) that would also give me a chance to enter this.

The song is corny but it's hopefully what they want.

I'm also going to try to upload a pdf of the Lead Sheet.  If it doesn't appear - please e-mail me for a copy.

Thanks so much,

Paul

Hi again,

It seems it's not possible to upload a pdf.  At least, I'm having a tough time trying.  I will do it again but just in case - here are the chords.
