So I had an hour or 2 to kill in between gigs yesterday & I stopped by my buddy Dennis's house. He's an amazing guitar player (multi -instrumentalist) that tours with a band called Cope and some other projects. Well we wrote & recorded this in about 40 mins. I'm on uke & he's on mandolin, LITLR using the DP008 stereo mics. If you listen close or with cans you'll hear Dennis's phone vibrate & him shut it off  right before the bridge, it was slick.
Them Apples
written & performed by Dennis Stadelman & Hook
I don't want or worry
And I don't need
And I don't rush or hurry
And I never bleed

What do you think about them apples

I'm not fresh nor fowl
I might be cheap but I'm not free
Pretty thin, hold off on the flour
I want you to Soak me up nice and easy

What do you think about them apples

Couldn't even compare
Would it be worth it
If you weren't there
What do you think
And why would you think that

I'm not certain or unsure
I see through a haze
I'm compromised and pure
Familiar with many ways

What do you think about them apples

Great live collab, I love these little live snapshots. Excellent tune, and great playing.
Brightened up a drab day in the UK, makes me want to pick up the guitar and play :-)

Digging for apples? Pommes de terre, peut etre? Mais non - these apples are the real deal.

I agree about the rolling ukelele and mandolin figures: they keep bouncing happily along. I'm sure that if I listened to music like this first thing in the morning the day would go better. Infectious.

Dueling BR1600s. Beats banjos.
