Sorry, I don't agree.  Its an abomination and should be against the law.  There should be an international convention preventing this ever being done again.  All instances of it should be eradicated from the internet and we should transmit apologies into outer-space to ensure that alien races know that it was just a terrible mistake when they hear it 2 million years from now.

Just think, though - if someone had arranged, performed and recorded this anew as a cover, they'd be lauded as a tasteful genius... (I even suspect the original composers would approve and give their blessing)

But because it's using the original sound recordings, we feel a little bit twitchy and guilty about being impressed... Odd, isn't it? Especially as most of us on here know this involved a fair level of creative expertise...

It certainly got me rethinking my views on this this kinda thing...
