Ooh ... New cans. what have you got? I'm a bit of a headphone junkie. Just bought some Grado SR80i's, but haven't burnt them in yet. Cheers for the comment :-)
Quote from: Nick_ODH on August 07, 2014, 06:10:25 AMI like those flute-like sounds at the star and end of the track - are they GB?  Sucker for flutes, me.
Believe it or not, it was one of the kits on he DM1 drum machine. I liked the sound, so knocked up a quick  beat & used it. Glad you liked the result :-)
Quote from: Tangled Wires on August 07, 2014, 06:51:18 AMSounded like there was a choral part in there too during the first and last part of it.
That's Alchemy, an iPad keyboard app. I think the patch is called Choir Male Chant.
Cheers

Cheers also to Geir, Hook, Both Regs, K Mac, T-Wires, Cuthbert & the inimitable Hilary for all the nice things you said.

I think you are doing quite a lot of things right!  Personally I don't stop layering until I get bored.

This is good.

Thanks Paul.
My problem is, I don't get bored easily. :)
My worst habit is a heavy delay finger. I've often been known to turn it up to 11 ... Until it's pointed out ;)

Not sure I'd get past the copyright Police though ... It's main riff & title shows an alarming similarity to a bona fide masterpiece ;)
