This is really inspired. Replaces all the disco with melancholic poignancy, and works incredibly well. The sparse arrangement lets the vocal stand out, and the vocal is a belter. Really, really cool.

I love what you have produced here, not what I was expecting, but it translates perfectly.

The raw stripped down arrangement allows your vocal to be the star of the show,  and you have injected your own style and personality into it.

Always nice to hear an revered song turned on its head, and made to sound so good in another style.

Lovely cover Hilary - used to do some Blondie covers in my bands as most of them had a girl singer. You've totally changed the mood of the song but it matches the lyrics more than the original. Great listen
