This has been a real labour of love...I really fell for this classic blues song
I wanted to get a real Nasty Swampy Delta feel......
so I enlisted a great slide player Geo Ballentine from Pennsylvania and a smoking harp player Tim Brennan from New Orleans
Hope you like it!

By the way I've done a vid as well   8)

Hook

That's some serious Louisiana, gator hunting, airboat flying,  frog stew brewing blues! Amazing vocal, great playing by all, marvelous!

Because the Hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
The hook brings you back
On that you can rely

Tangled Wires

I won't lie, I am no big blues fan so am not familiar with this tune, but this is absolutely wonderful and sounds so authentic.

The slide is exquisite, amazing technique and feel and the harp just takes it up yet another notch

That is one smokin growling vocal there Rev, you got the perfect voice for the blues.

The time and effort spent has paid dividends and you should be very proud of this.

Jean Pierre

 didn't know The reverend 48

I started to listen to his jukebox and I came across this song I'm a King Bee which is the first one in his jukebox

For me this song has a particular resonance because it is through it, in the Rolling Stone version, that I discovered the blues and became definitely involved in this music

I did a cover of I'm a King bee here

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Great collaboration from these two great exponents of the blues.   Willie
