Hook

So my wife has been wanting me to try to buy & sell equipment since I'm always watching craigslist. So this is what I've ended up with to start. At the top I have the Korg Micro Pandora effect processor, this one I'm hoping to keep ::) to the left is a Tascam Dp004, to the right is the Tascam Pocketstudio 5 & on the bottom is the Korg D4. I also got a Korg D12 but it didn't work properly (the enter key was totally dead) so I've returned it and am getting a refund.
Pan gets to choose one recorder than I'll sell the other ones, hopefully I'll come close to doubling my $$$ well see. I've had friends that have been somewhat successful buying guitars & amps & reselling them  so well see. I really want to get a good deal on a good 16 track & then not be able to sell it...but keep that info to yourself.
Regardless, tomorrow I'll test the 004 & the 5 & that's my favorite part, until the cash starts coming in!

I have done well with eBay over the past few years.

Nothing to retire on though!

Sounds like a plan Brother. Particularly like the idea of a 16 track that you can't sell  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Picked up an MBR for $40 bucks, got it this weekend. Part of me wants to make that Pan's recorder but the DP 004 is a little bit easier & I think will be a better recorder for her to learn the basics. She can upgrade later.  The Korg D4 is gone (doubled my $) & had a bite on the Tascam 5 but but just a nibble really. Today I'm picking up some kind of organ someone is giving away (craigslists free section), musical I hope!

Sweet haul. I had a Tascam Pocketstudio 5. In fact I still have it: in a cupboard! (planning to fire it up again oneday though...). It was the Tascam that led me to Songcrafters. I got an MBR to replace it, and found this forum as I tried to work out how to use it.

The Tascam's sound quality isn't as good as an MBR, but the guitar fx and drums were great. And I liked having sliders for each track.
