Nigel & Mary’s Waltz w/ Igor

Igor from over at Alonetone sent me over this wonderful piano piece and asked if i would like to collaborate on it and i jumped at the chance.............

Nigel & Mary's Waltz
Nigel said to Mary come Marry me
lets make a show we can both just be
But Nigel he lied, crooked was his smiled
all he wanted was to Mary to beguile
disappointed Mary's tears did fall
as Nigel frolicked with Anna in the hall
the sound echoed from wall to wall
Making Mary feel so small
the tune of a waltz danced through the air
Mary struggled to breathe her despair
oh how the world did turn
oh how mary's heart burned
at Nigel's vicious spurn
and how the Waltz sang without a word

Mary's anger grew intense

the anger spewed, out of her mind and into her hand
she took a knife
on that tragic night
climbed the stairs, to their room
while Nigel slept, with Anna by his side
Mary took the knife and held it high
plunging it down into Nigel's chest
he screamed without a sound
Mary turned the knife and took her own life
as the waltz echoed out through the walls

This is excellent, it has an almost Operatic/West End sound.

A nice change to hear the usual high intensity vocal style rained in on this occasion, and you deliver this perfectly over that beautiful piano backdrop.
