couldn't sleep last night, trapped nerve in neck was bugging me, new meds not killing the pain as yet, hopefully they will kick in soon. anyway i was driving mrs rottenhead nuts, so i got up about 5 am, ended out in the back garden and picked up my ukelele just as the rush hour was beginning.

oh i just can't sleep
and i toss and turn
so i got up early
early in the morn
so i'm gonna sit here
and wait and see
if the sun is gonna
shine on me
i can hear the traffic
as it starts to build
the distant noise
is gonna burst ma bubble
in my suntrap garden
the pain returns
and i can only pray
the sun will come
when the weathers nice
i can sit out here
in my suntrap garden
in my suntrap garden
i've taken my tablets
and i hope they work
in my suntrap garden
in my suntrap garden
can you hear the traffic
as it starts to build
the distant noise
is gonna bursts ma bubble
in my suntrap garden
the pain has gone
and thank the lord
the sun has come

Loved the tune and live outdoor feel with traffic noises. Nice chords!

But, that pain sounds not good. All the best and quick relief, James.

Sorry about the pain, James - hope you feel better soon, and glad to hear the meds are helping. This suntrap garden does sound like a lovely place.

btw, is your uke named "Harold"? :)
