There is something very mesmeric about those chord progressions, it's simplicity is it's great strength in this case.

Always loved this song, and this is a wonderful re-interpretation. Päivi's vocals are so smooth, and Kari's spare guitar sounds just right. And the sounds of nature really add to the overall tranquil atmosphere.

Fantastic to see a photo of the inspiration for the song, as well as a shot by the lake - it looks like a gorgeous spot!

I have been many times on that island with Kari. It is very exiting place. Last time when we went there we found bird's nest. There was four sea-eagles. What a bird!
Kari's island is good place to make music. It's so peaceful and far away from noisy world. Nothing can disturb you there. Kari gives me the words and start to play guitar and do also all the recording. I'm just singing. Wonderful weekends. Thank you darling!
