Here's a brief offering...

I finally eked out some time to record this weekend, so I upgraded to Addictive Drums 2 (more slots for kit pieces, greater tonal control, ability to link pieces, a search function that allows you to input a pattern, and the program will suss out similar beats, and more). Part of the upgrade was the option to get one of their AdPaks for about 70% off. I took a risk and went with the jazz brushes and am shocked at how good they sound. Can't recommend the program enough. It's ridiculous.

Anyhow, I needed to figure out the program before starting a SC collaboration, so I improvised the chords to a stagnant beat, and then I went back and started futzing with the drums. I kind of liked where it was going, so I added the lead guitar and programmed a quick bass on the piano roll. A little sad I didn't grab a guitar with humbuckers, but the Strat was on a stand within reach. Short because it wasn't supposed to go anywhere. I guess I still love VintageVerb as this tune is once again awash in it.

Take care.

Those drums sound totally awesome, just like the real thing! Lovely guitar playing, great dynamics with some very nice flourishes too. It might be short but it is perfectly formed!
