BR1200

Before I sold my BR900 I backed up the songs and exported the tracks as WAV files. I picked up a BR 1200 and so far the only way I can see to import the songs is to import each WAV file one track at a time. This is quite tedious and I'm wondering if software was developed for file sharing / compatibility or if there is a "work around" to speed up the process??? Thanks

Vtz - Not entirely sure if this is in the right Forum Board - possibly in Boss Recorders would be better? Only by luck I found this.  :)
Admin!!

Anyhow, I have the BR1200 and encountered the same probs as yer good self, and so I went with this...

...I think it cost about £35 incl P&P from the U.S., but it has certainly paid for itself more than once.
Good luck with your endeavours.  8)

I wish that was available for Mac.
Unlike wives, you can never have too many Les Pauls.

I have owned and used a BR1200 for the last 6 or 7 years. I own no software. When i finish a song, i usually burn it (wav) to a CDR. You can do this with mutiple songs as well...or you can use CDRW's, burn each finished song to disc, then upload them to your PC (or Mac probably), then arrange the songs in the order you want, and burn as many CDR's as you want. I know software has some advantages, but i think the mixing and mastering abilities of the 1200 are pretty adequate, at least for an amateur like me.

I've got the WAV-MAKER software from TopSoundProductions now. It does exactly what it says on the tin - gets WAVs out of the BR on to your PC faster than the BR can itself. One drawback (from my point of view) is that it creates separate left and right mono WAVs from the stereo tracks - I didn't see an option to change this... (I could be wrong though!). It's not the end of the world, obviously, and it depends on what you're importing them into later as to how much of a pain this might be...

BUT, I'm fairly certain WAV-MAKER isn't designed to go back the other way - it doesn't seem to provide any option to import WAV files into a BR project. I was kind of hoping for this but not really expecting it.
