I Felt it - DeificDave - solo guitar

What a wonderful change for us to listen to.  Serene and Peaceful. I'm sure if anyone could add a vocal to compliment this piece, Geir could do it, but i'm not sure it needs any addition. A great standalone piece.  Willie

Beautifully played and produced, Dave. I love the classical ambiance - I feel as if I can hear the room itself.

Damn, wish I could play with this much feeling. More, please! :)

Thanks again for the kind words. I'm really blown away that so many people have commented on this, I wasn't expecting that at all!

Thanks to Kenny for suggesting I post this as a solo piece, it would have just sat on my iPad unheard without your encouragement!

I've listened to your version ORH and you have surpassed yourself, hairs on the back of my neck stood up!

Thanks Cuthbert, my intention with this piece was to try and capture a moment, a feeling and express it. I do have another piece I wrote before this one, I started a 4 part harmony for stings during it and just could quite piece it together but I feel encouraged to try and do something with it now. Thanks again.

Wow! Very nice picking on a fine melody. Stands nicely on it's own. No vocal needed.

Well done!

Beautiful Classical guitar playing Dave! The tone of the nylon strings is perfect. I like it as a solo guitar piece but if anyone can match your playing it would be one of the songcrafter members.  A fine song!

I knew one of the songcrafter's would step up with vocals for Dave's fine instrumental. You've hit the spot ORH with an excellent read on the lyric and melody addition!

Thanks guys. I have to say I love ORHs vocal version, I listened to it a lot and got a lot of joy from it, some of his words totally captured what I was thinking about when I played the piece.
