i am continually amazed and confounded by the inconsequential things, that people get worked up about.

well i don't care if you don't like it
or think that this sounds just like something else
you need to find your sense of humour
or you will never ever get the joke
and seriously you can't be serious
to find offence in everything you hear
and seriously i just can't see
the negativity of which you speak
well i don't know what people think of me
but does it really matter if they don't know me
i've got thick skin and a devilish grin
and i see the funny side in everything
and seriously i guess you see
exactly what you really want to see
and seriously you can't be serious
you need to try and see the funny side

I think this is more true than can be stated. And I think it is a lesson hard to learn. Rather, hard to keep in mind when needed the most. Thanks for sharing, the message here is invaluable.
