Fitted some nice sparkly new strings on my guitar and felt the need to record something.
It all came together pretty quickly, recorded the rhythm and lead guitar parts on my micro br,transferred these to mixcraft along with some br drums that seemed to fit and set about arranging the song. Back into the micro br with the unfinished song, recorded the bass track and did several solo takes. Back in mixcraft pieced together the solo's.

The guitars are the highlight, obviously. But I'm also struck at how well the drums work here. Using the BR drums is not the easiest thing (imo) but this songs sounds good.

Epic!

Your back-and-forth recording process is similar to what I have done on a few songs. Funny how the MBR ends up being the best tool for some situations, even when you have fancy DAW software.

I bet you'd get some takers if you put this up on the Backing Track Jams board with the solos removed. Although you've thrown down quite a gauntlet with your own solos.

Frightening guitar skills! I like how you keep it melodic amongst all the drama and pyrotechnics. This a really well-crafted and professional track, and the recording / production is perfect.
