I love ur chord arguments and the use of your guitar solo fill ins.. i would love to see this evolve. there is a defiant purpose to your song:)

I listened to it a couple of times, as the first time was not enough...  After reading the other posts, I went back and listened to it again with ideas in my head.  I think if you feel that the song needs to have vocals -in the form of lyrics (maybe the lyrics came first) - then add the vocals.  But a melody does not just has to have vocals - it can be accomplished by adding instruments on hand or other percussion.  That is one of the things that has attracted me to listening to Jimi H. for the last 38 years!  Not only having a great power of imagination and incredible ability to build chord progressions, but he was striving to get that vocal/emotions sound on his guitar and bass arrangements.  "Pachelbel's Cannon in D" is another excellent example - on the classical musical end. - it was based on vocals (for sound) to build the harmony and melody - and now you can hear as many arrangents of this song with any musical instruments => maybe even more than for "knocking on Heavens door" by cover bands...

I am a newbie too, and having a hard time finding (quality time) sitting down and getting going w/ my BR900 --- there are a lot of posts in this website - so now I'm addicted to listening to posts and readin some of the comments.

I hope my first take on the BR is as good as this one.  I am sure I'll be relying on "Audacity" to clean it up -

Sounds nice!  Hope you get vocals soon.

Right on! I do like the harmonics.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.
