I got lulled by the mellow opening verse, and then bang that chorus kicks in and changes the mood and tempo of the song completely.

Great song Nelson, those choruses and bridges just want to make you get up and dance and the verses provide a real cool contrast to these.

A choir in the choruses would certainly add something extra special to already special song.

I like Somadat a lot!

i watched a documentary about bill withers on bbc4 on friday night, (what a proud passionate man he is). i immediately thought of you, nelson you are out of the same mould as mr withers. brilliant song and your voice is incredible.

Nice song there.
I would love to hear a slowed down version of it,it has definitely got a great vibe to it.
A choir would be great.

Tons of energy in this, Nelson - love the strong gospel feel in the chorus, which also happens to be catchy as hell! I'm also in awe of the piano basis of the song - deep respect for playing so well. Fantastic vocals, too - you're really opening up on this one.

One of your best, I think.

This is brilliant songwriting, the tempo changes works really well. I agree a choir would be great.

I love the sound of that piano. How'd you get it? But of course, as always, the highlight is your vocal. There is a character in your voice that just can't be replicated, can't be auto-tuned, can't be taught I don't think.
