Geir

I'm excited.

Jon's replaced with Jon. Alan instead of Bill and Geoff instead of Rick, but Chris is back ...... Since last time I saw them .... That time they couldn't use the name "Yes" and went as ABWH.

Geir

Tired .... but it was worth it ..

The played :

"Close to the edge", "Going for the one" and .... "The Yes album"  ... Yes ... the full albums, beginning to end !!!

The years are showing, but my oh my, the music is still magic.

I'll write some more later, but for a starter I'd like to say that Jon Davidson did a remarkable job on the vocals. Mr. Anderson is not an easy act to follow, but I was impressed with his young replacement.

Hook

I bet that was fun brother! I saw the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe Tour in 1990, Richmond, VA. It was a good show, but my memories of that night are full colors & images that I'm pretty sure didn't happen. I remember there was a lawn in the back, like a hill & I started rolling down it, gently at first. Then I started taking a running start & curling into a ball & barreling down he hill into the metal railing at the bottom. I did this for a while then I remember being at the bottom, after the umpteenth times down the hill, and I saw a girl spinning at the top of the hill, so I ran to spin & I bet I spun with her  for like 30 min. & when I stopped spinning I fell on my face & there I stayed until my friends collected me after the concert. Perhaps I didn't really see the show, but it was an excellent so soundtrack to my psychedelic evening. The next morning I felt like I had been beaten for hours by gangsters! This was nothing however to my Grateful Dead experience a few years later.
Glad you had a good time brother & thanks for the trip down memory lane.
