No *typical* celebration: usual barbecue, sleeping, resting, seaside...

In Rome, in the morning, there is a military parade, in the last years more and more *soft* due to the economical crisis.

Everybody, live and on TV, wait just for the very coreographical final moment of the Parade with the "Fanfare of the Bersaglieri", the only military corps in the world that doesn't march but RUN. And PLAYS running, at the speed of 180 steps per minute:

This one was last year's parade:

Happy Festa, Alfredo and all our Italian friends!

That footage of the running Bersaglieri marching band was amazing. I can barely handle playing an instrument sitting down or walking (e.g., with ukulele) - I can't imagine running while blowing into a brass instrument and being able to make (listenable) music. ;)

I'd be more like this:   ;D :D :D

LOL  :D

Yes, Cuthbert, once talking with one of them he said that everything was very, very, VERY hard, complicated and difficult: running, playing, keeping the running rhythm... They run during most part of their military training!!! So first of all, they must be very good athletes...surely not for everyone!

*Driving in Italy* is too generic, and after all, quite simple...

Driving in Naples, or in Rome, or Palermo, where I live...well, THAT could be rather complicated for someone not accustomed...  :o :o :o
