I can clearly remember that the first time I listened to "In a Silent Way" (I was a teen ager...) I thought that it was the example of the word "perfection" in music. 40 years after I didn't change my mind.

So, when the dronefest was decided, I began to think that it could be an occasion for my tribute to this real gem, its composer, Joe Zawinul, and the GREAT Miles Davis. I hope they will forgive me for this cover...

excellent....I have just been out with dog and have been taking photos thinking what kind of music to put them...listening to your piece really meditative...oh and thanks for the heads up on the Silent Way, Im going to seek out  a copy.....ps Im new to the forum and was wondering what Drone Fest is...would I be right in thinking its songs without words ?
