I don't know what to say.  YOu have such feeling in your voice.  You must be 80 years old to have experienced all that emotion that your voice always imparts. JUst a beautiful job again.

Super fine job all around, singing, playing guitar, recording.  Blown away here in Atlantic Canada.

Great work Kody.  A song I didn't know well but after listening to several times I find deeply saddening.

Anyway I thought I would learn Kody's version of it and see if it would work on my 12-string ... so I de-tuned my guitar down to D-A-D-A-A-E or whatever it was then noticed that you seemed to go a tone under that.   We are talking a lot of tuning on a 12-string by this stage.

Anyways, didn't really work as I would have liked.  Got too much fret rattle because there was not enough tension.  Don't know what I was thinking anyway.  Wasn't going to improve on yours Kody.

I'm going to grab a beer then re-tune my guitar.

Ah...but, your post, my friend,.....I find deeply saddening....

Hahha!!....No, seriously I know the feeling~ I don't think my 12-string would handle being tuned this low...I actually did mine on a 6 string....It would sound better on a 12, like the original... But, I have trouble singing in that key...Dude, I transpose just about every cover song I do one way or another...

I was kind of hoping this song would be lost in the archives forever...LOL! I think I could do it better now~But thanks, Migs! Maybe you'd have better luck in the original key~ It does sound great on a 12 string~ I've got a feeling you'll be trying it again ;)....I know I do every now and then!!

I don't have an acoustic guitar, but after hearing some of your postings I think I might save up for one. I have a buddy up north that has a sweet Taylor that I used to play now and again, but I've just recently started to get the bug again. It's all about time - I remember when this song came out and you do it well. So don't worry about it resurfacing  ;D

K-dizzle, man I haven't heard this song in a long, long time. This brings back some great memories. Excellent playing. Superb singing. Why you aren't scribed on an LP yet, I have no idea. Fan-frickin-tastic.
