Well a re-mix of this song isn't going to happen soon so I'm going to share it as is. Not that I'm unhappy with it. It's best song about agoraphobia I've ever written.

Thinking about you once again
Wishing you could understand
Wonderin' 'bout the places you have been
The corner grocery and Japan

Another day goes by and I'm all alone
Stuck inside my house, can't leave my home

I tried to call you one last time
But your number must have changed
You said I had a broken mind
That needed to be rearranged

Stuck inside my shell, all alone
My only contact is through the phone

Some day you'll see
The broken part of me
Was the part that you loved the best
If you only could set me free

I walk to the door, it's open wide
I try to see the world from here
The lonely echoes from my past life
Can't lure me out from my fear

I see people as they're walking by
I can't be there even though I try

Some day you'll see
The broken part of me
Was the part that you loved the best
If only you could set me free
My broken mind

Well crafted song. The chorus is a winner and I love the backing ooh.

Greeny

Love the interplay between the grungy electric and the clean, sweet acoustic. Has a touch of the Neil Youngs about the riff-style and vocal, but it's a top quality song with a really slick delivery. The build to the big, catchy chorus is perfect. Very cool indeed.

steelguitar

The guitar parts are superb, like the chord progression... A touch of Neil Young, I am agree with Greeny
The chorus reminds me  a little the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with the voice like Anthony Kiedis! (a great compliment for me)

Well done

Excellent…I really dig the harder electric chords mixed with the acoustic leads, and the drums are nice and snappy. Strong chorus as mentioned previously, and very nice background vocals.

I knew from the opening seconds of this song that I was going to like it....those progressions just grabbed me, and I do like the ying and yang of the acoustic and overdriven guitars.

The acoustic break that comes in at 2.20 is devine, and was kind of expecting a "big" electric solo in there at some point, but glad it didn't and the restrained nature just adds to the songs strength for me.

The vocal melodies in both the verses and choruses are spot on, and yeah there is a slight Kiedis vibe to them.

All in all this is an excellent song with instant likeability.
