Great T.C.! This could be a long lost Neil Young song...it's that good! As others have said the contrast between the over driven electric and the acoustic guitar makes an unexpected but great production idea.

From the intro the music grabs you, accompanied by a wonderful vocal performance,
drawing you into the song.

That's what we all hope our work does.

PS.
The music has a spirited punch, led by the cool guitar work.

Well done

Really enjoyed the song and performance, just lots to like, the lyrics are cool and the vox are magic, only thing IMO which means very little. I would keep the grungy guitar, but tone it down a little and increase the bass during the vox, cause that is the standout part of the track, really like this song loads.

Quote from: Greeny on May 21, 2014, 03:58:48 AMLove the interplay between the grungy electric and the clean, sweet acoustic. Has a touch of the Neil Youngs about the riff-style and vocal, but it's a top quality song with a really slick delivery. The build to the big, catchy chorus is perfect. Very cool indeed.

This pretty much summed up what I had to say. I, too, was caught by the contrast of the acoustic and electric.

Fantastic track :) I'm in love with the music-- that rhythm and the melody work beautifully.

I walk to the door, it's open wide
I try to see the world from here
The lonely echoes from my past life
Can't lure me out from my fear

I can see myself in this way very often in the past and even now still at times. Very nice work with your lyrics.
