The kites are flying these days .... this is the 4th song in less than a week. Well, this one is a bit different than the "usual" stuff (whatever that is ::) ) .... I started this with a simple piano/cello piece and then it just took it's own life after James added his fabulous words and voice. Mr Green then added a screaming lead guitar that really moved me. I had a weird idea of adding some backwards drums, and Jarle delivered and then some !! Mike managed somehow to weld this all together with his magic bass and production skills !!

We're rather happy with this one :D

everything is still
everything is quiet
everything the same
will nothing ever change
time marches on
every single word
you ever ever said
everything remains
that we have left behind
time marches on
time marches on
time marches on
every second counts
every minute moves you
time marches on
memories of me
and memories of you

Oh well ........

I disagree. It's up to the usual Kite quality. I am enjoying listening to these new tunes. A VERY productive period, but I hear no clunkers. Wish I could manage that.

The only issue with this song is where to place it on the next album! Stunner, and as is the case with all JK stuff, the chemistry is undeniable. Chicken Dinner....

from the moment geir sent me his piano and cello i knew this was gonna be special, i thought it went downhill when i added my vox but then tim saved it with his guitar solo, then when i heard mike and jarle's additions i about fell of my seat.

this one is now my personal jk favourite. i get goosebumps listening and i can't for the life of me imagine how we are ever gonna top this one.

I still haven't recovered from the first time I heard this with the vocal. It's gone deep. Way deep.

Really grand arrangement, performances, and production on this one. It's standout track, and the quality level is through the roof! Fine, fine stuff.

Talk about a band in form...this is on another scale and very very special!

That vocal didn't need saving at all, it is delivered perfectly over that stunning piano and cello backdrop, and loving that reversed percussion too.

When the drums and sublime lead guitar kicked in it sounded almost Floydish, in fact the whole song had a bit of that vibe.

Judging on the last three JK songs I think you fella's have taken your song writing to an even higher plateau.

Going to be hard to top this one, but please feel free to try ;) ;)
