problems with microbr wav editor help!!

i have used the microbr wav editor for ages only ever having problems with bad cards, but i am getting somethging strange today. lots of activity with jemimas kite and kari so i have been extracting wavs so folk can do good mixes. never had any problems until today.

no my microbr works fine however when i try to extract a wav file i get the process goes the full 100% then i get a failed to read track. this happens when i use my pc's card reader but also when i connect my mbr via usb. it is so strange i rebooted my pc, reinstalled wav convertor, but still same problem. in the past such problems where associated with card read errors on my mbr, but my mbr is not playing up. just the wav editor.

Try skipping the track that fails by unselecting it

it affects every track i try to export. and i am not getting a card read error.

it doesn't affect every track after all. only my lead vocal track. song i'm working on for jk, i have recorded two lead vocals and been unable to transfer either. first was on a nearly full card, on 2nd go i formatted card so was empty. but i was able to extract backing vox.   mmm. wtf? probably need a new card,

just delete the affected track and maybe your card will be fine

i think its a card problem. it only seems to be affecting tracks 3 and 4 v1. so maybe that sector of the card is damaged, time for a new card, i managed to do what i had to do on another track, but my 1st two takes are not getable. and i always love my first takes cos they have an edge cos i dont know what i am gonna do till i do it. trying to replicate that is a nightmare, think i managed it on take 19 tho. we shall see.
